One of the primary aims of this website is to provide a precise description of the Bar-On model of "emotional intelligence" (EI) as well as my approach to conceptualizing, measuring and applying this valuable construct. An additional aim is to go beyond EI and introduce the website visitor to what I think will be the next big paradigm shift in psychology -- "the multifactor model of performance" -- which is examined in detail on this site. In addition to emotional-social intelligence, this innovative multifactor model combines additional predictors of human behavior and performance in a revised and expanded version of "mind, body and soul."
